There are so few stories that make you think for days if not weeks after you finish them. Anomaly is definitely one of them!Fast paced with solid character development makes for great stories. David Kazzie makes that happen. This story grapples with some profound choices and left me thinking about it for weeks.

This book grabbed me from the beginning and wouldn’t let go. Would have read it in one session, but had to finally put it down and go to sleep at 2 am. Don’t want to give any spoilers, but the book Makes great use of a fascinating sci-fi concept to explore some deep psychological conflicts and leaves you wondering “what would I do?” Fun twists and turns and keen observations about life keep this book moving. A bit different from Kazzie’s other books, an I think his best to date. The mix of physical and mental challenges faced by the protagonist would make for a great movie, but the author’s rich use of the English language shouldn’t be missed.

Although the premise of the story is exciting, the author left me FLAT! He had a relatively good backstory but when he got to the scientific and specifics of the premise - it didn't go anywhere. He thru in some sex and violence but when I got to then end I thought the author just dropped the ball and could not figure how to end it.

If you've read Kazzie in the past, you won't be disappointed. His edge of your seat, page turning style is in full effect here. But this is far more than just a gripping sci-fi read. This is about human nature and humanity and what responsibility we have towards each other now and in the future. We all have at least a tiny glimmer of greed lurking within. That's why even those upon the most noble of missions can be drawn onto a darker path.Anomaly leaves you asking yourself what would it take to make you take that dark path.I'll be thinking about this book for a long time.

Anomaly was very good. It grabs you from the very beginning and doesn't let go until the end. One thing that I really like when reading books are short chapters which this has. The book delves into doing something for your own good vs the good of humanity and the repercussions of the choices made along the way with a few twists and turns. It's quite soul searching and thought provoking. I just started reading The Immune Series by David Kazzie because I liked Anomaly so much.

A second helping for me with author David Kazzies' newest release "Anomoly". Much like my first experience with this author's offerings, "The Immune" (omnibus version), "Anomoly" was also a well paced read and an interesting story overall. I found the ending to be jarringly abrupt , but afterwords with some time to digest I can accept this as the author's device to leave you hanging intentionally to continue thinking about the protagonist's choices. I did find there to be strong influences of the stories and questions brought out in both the movies Interstellar and Arrival but the author's twist on the theme was interesting just the same without being derivative.

Kazzie is a good find if you like books that are interesting and well-written.I felt grouchy about the abrupt ending because I wanted to know what happened to Claire, but I also “got it”- the ending works for the type of story Kazzie was telling. It also leaves the possibility of a sequel.

Talk about getting inside someone's head! Most of the book is Claire's thoughts. And like real life, they evolve and change. Some of the ideas get repeated a little too much, I guess to emphasize importance. But the story was very interesting, with some good twists I didn't see coming. I can't get specific without spoiling, but I wanted a little more out of the ending.
