This book is quite unique. It’s about former lovers ending up on a train almost thirty years after a horrible break-up. Although there’s barely any dialogue, the writing style is excellent, and it’s a short and quick read. It’s riveting and I simply had to finish it one day. As with any book, it’s won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me it was an engrossing read.
A fast-paced story in which two people reunite on a train many years after breaking up. It's a quick read, but dense in detail and backstory.
Really enjoyed this one. Concise and well-told look into memory musings, internal lives and the interaction that could happen between two people who haven't seen each other in a very long time.
I purchased this book on the recommendation of a facebook post-I really enjoyed it-a quick read-unique setting and storyline-not a typical plot-very good.

Interesting take on the thoughts of two former lovers as they ride the train pretending not to recognize each other.
Unusual writing in that it's told in first-person narrative from BOTH of the characters, alternating between them. In the Kindle version, that was a little hard to figure out at first -- there was nothing separating them in terms of a name, and it took me a bit to realize what the author was doing. The story was great. Simple story, that shows how much things like youthful cruelty and lack of consideration for others can damage us (both parties!) and for how long. Without offering anything like a spoiler, I will just say that the ending was remarkable.
