This book is a great little introduction to hydroponics. It tells you about different types of systems and how they work. There is even a simple tutorial on how to build a basic small system. The book covers some basic plant diseases, how to sprout seeds and how to take cuttings. Overall good reading if you have absolutely zero knowledge but really basic for anyone that kept a houseplant sucessfully.Pros: easy read with a quick basic understanding of hydroponics.Cons: the book is tiny, it was literally hard to read for my 44 year old eyes. I needed good lighting to read it. Also the first page is just to ask the people that read the book for better photos so they can update the book someday.Overview: literally the most basic book on hydroponics. Like really basic.
Have to break out the 3 x magnifier glasses to read the type is very small.... it would be a great book if it was a little bigger....
I just got this book in the mail and shipping was super fast. I ordered it because I am going to get into Hydroponic Growing and it is much easier to understand what is needed to begin growing. I enjoy that it gives info on what needs to be used to get started. I think it is a great read to get started if you are interested in Hydroponics!!
When you purchase a book, you usually don't find it necessary to check the dimensions of it but this is a tiny 6" x 4" book. It does have nice colored pictures and gives you hydroponic basics.
This little book was most informative, far more so than some longer texts, articles, and YouTubes.
Keeps things simple which I love. Wish it had more system drawings, however it still was a great help to,a new person in this field. I gave it 5 stars , however the same content could be gotten off of YouTube. Great little reference book for a new person though, like myself.
This book is ideal for a DIY junkie. If you have some free time on your hands and just like to build stuff using things around your home, this is a nice book to start a hobby. It outlines various types of designs used for hydroponics and with a little imagine you can be building the ones you like in no time at all
Some okay information in it. Was not really what I had hoped it would be. Would have been better if it had more specific information and some better pictures in it. A good pocket primer on hydroponics but there are better books out there on this topic.
