...could think this was funny. I like to think I'm pretty flexible in terms of my humor, from what used to be considered by the word "bawdy" to the much more urbane. Excerpt: "OMG I just played a joke on the postman (6 smiley faces)...What joke?...It was so funny (3 smiley faces)...I'm dying (3 smiley faces)...You're not dying...I'm literally dead (3 smiley faces)...You're not literally dead...The postman literally is though (3 smiley faces)...What?...do we have anything that could dissolve a body? (4 smiley faces)." This is NOT by any means the worst of them. Unfunny, moronic and stupid beyond belief. I've shown this to a number of people from different backgrounds and they're in agreement. I was expecting cute, maybe on the level of a "Far Side." This is third grade humor. From the vendor that markets this type of product to the individuals that think this is funny, I can't help but wonder what is going on here. This is from a guy that enjoys Benny Hill, Blazing Saddles, Dr Strangelove, Mystery Science 3000 and the more "sophisticated" comedy venues. This is trash. Expensive trash at the price, but trash nonetheless. I know it's like beating a dead horse here....but I can't help myself...I'm more than old enough to remember Johnny Carson after he took over from Jack Paar...visited Rodney Dangerfield at his club...have pretty much the entire collection of the Three Stooges and some of the old Looney Tunes before the violent scenes in a period controlled by outraged Romper Room biddies (ha) were cut out...loved Stan Lee comics as a kid and the sweetness of Charlie Brown and Snoopy...I'm classically trained, have a masters degree and whilst that doesn't necessarily indicate any great degree of deep thought on my part (plenty of failures there) I can't even begin to wrap my mind around the thought processes of an individual that finds this even remotely funny. Out of hundreds of purchases my wife and I have had with Amazon over the years, many of which have been great, this has to be in the top five of one of the worst.
Box was crumpled on arrival which only matters because this was a gift and who wants to give a beat up box?
Had such high hopes but halfway through January, none of them have been even remotely funny.
My teenage children love this calendar. We’ve bought it the last several years. It’s basically mildly amusing, but once or twice a month it delivers laugh out loud moments.
I thought the text would be funny and cute...was rarely funny. Ended up getting a different daily calendar, was very disappointing, was supposedly a best seller.
Perfect Christmas gift for a friend!
This was a Christmas gift for a co-worker and she takes pictures of the pages and texts them to me. There are some really funny ones here.
